Our extra-curricular highlights

2168 Parliament

Sadleir Public School has been part of the 2168 Children’s Parliament (2168CP) since it began. The 2168CP empowers children to engage in civic life by expressing their ideas and understanding their rights and responsibilities. It offers opportunities for children to influence decisions affecting them through workshops, consultations, and excursions.

School Ambassadors

The School Ambassadors network with other school ambassadors from across the Liverpool region. At these events, students explore and develop their leadership skills. Projects will be undertaken with the local school impact, being presented at a special project presentation event.

Creative Arts

Students in K-6 have the opportunity to participate in the Western Liverpool Festival of the Performing Arts in dance and choir. Additionally, students participate in a dance program as part of our High Potential and Gifted Education (HPGE) initiative with Ashcroft High School. Students can also join the Wakakirri team in dance or creating props. These program aim to enhance students' skills and creativity in art and dance while fostering their talents in the performing arts.

Camps and excursions

Our students enjoy getting out of the classroom to explore, learn and try new things. These experiences help them grow, build confidence and see how their learning connects to the world.
